Connects, protects and presents

Five live field protocols and an OPC UA server. System health and hardware check. Security, sign-in and a signed installer. Branding, themes and showcase mode.

Field protocols

Connects to the equipment you already have

Five field protocols in, one normalised feed out. Each protocol screen has the same parts: connectors, status, saved connections, settings and the point grid. Connections can be saved and exported as JSON.

  • Modbus TCP. Two connectors at once, such as an inverter block and a revenue meter; register grid with scaling; read-only.
  • DNP3. Outstation connection and point list (analog, binary, counter); read-only, no operate verbs.
  • IEC 60870-5-104. Controlled-station connection and ASDU point list; monitor direction only.
  • OPC UA and MQTT Sparkplug B. Tag map with per-tag resolution and quality; discovered Sparkplug metrics with one-click mapping.
  • Camera ISAPI and RTSP. Thermal and PTZ cameras on the same console.

Inverters and loggers, substation devices and meters, PLCs and battery storage, weather stations, thermal and PTZ cameras.

One feed out, nothing written back

Field Data board

Every mapped tag, register and metric with value, quality and age.

OPC UA server

Hands the reconciled data to a historian or an existing server.

Read-only to the plant

No write verbs on any field protocol.

Operate › System Health

Is the dashboard telling you the truth?

System health leads with data provenance before any number: refresh loop timing, point quality counts and device links. Hardware check measures this workstation for real and keeps plant computers in a separate, badged panel.

  • SCADA health: data source, refresh timing, point quality, device links.
  • Measured vs simulated: the console PC is measured; plant hosts are shown separately and badged.
SCADA system health: paint loop measured here, point quality and device links simulated and badged

Secure by design

Sign-in, operator roles and a protected installation

Sign-in screen

Nothing renders behind the lock screen until an operator signs in.

Operator roles

Who is signed in and what they may command is held in the protected main process.

Signed and sealed

The installed app carries a signed seal and refuses to start if it has been altered.

Protected installer

Encrypted installer payload and hardened runtime settings.

Network policy

Cameras and access hosts are reached only through one destination policy.

No passwords stored

Device passwords stay in the operating system's environment, not in APEX files.

Branding

Your brand, your look

Customer logo, alternate layouts and a light theme. Customer and vendor marks are separate, so a site handover changes one and keeps the other.

Demo Manager

Showcase mode: APEX presents itself

A self-running guided tour that walks the important functions with real clicks.

About four minutes, 28 steps

Walks the important functions with real clicks.

Visible cursor and captions

An animated cursor moves to each control; a card narrates each stop.

Ends with a real report

Generates and opens a PDF report once per run.

A human always wins

Any touch, key or scroll stops the tour at once.

Showcase mode walks the important functions in about four minutes. After that we list your SCADA points, protocols and camera positions.
